To all those dancing in the middle and older group on Saturday, February 14 at St. Mary’s Macedonian Hall for the Valentine’s Day Dance: Please arrive at 6:45 p.m. promptly. We are on stage at 7:00-7:15 p.m. Please come in your costumes ready and dressed as you all were on Sveti Sava. Bring a change of clothes to change in to for the igranka/dance. For those of you who want to join us just for a fun night with the family, ALL ARE WELCOME. This is a great opportunity for our kids to get to know other children in our community, see their friends, kumovi and cousins!

Sunday following Divine LIturgy we will serve lunch as usual and have dance practice for all groups including Preschool-1st Grade.

A few of our children have organized a candy/sweets sale to benefit our Good Samaritan Fund at church. The children will be learning about how to help less fortunate this week. As many of you know, our church has a Good Samaritan Fund. This fund has directly helped many of our parishioners during hard times. We have helped cancer patients, surgery patients, medical issues, people who have lost their homes/jobs, etc. Talk to your kids about helping others and maybe donate some of their birthday money or have them fundraise on their own. It’s never too late to start.

Folklore practice will begin as usual right after lunch. Bojana is starting new choreography and steps with the kids. It is crucial to keep coming every week. She is planning a lot of new things for our year-end performances which include: April Folk Fest, Dancing for Pistons Half-time Show (no date yet), Vidovdan, Carousel of the Nations (Windsor), and possibly Chicago May 2.

New Website will be up soon!

As always thank you for your continuous support and commitment to your child’s faith and culture!
